Project Overview: The tunnel mainly passes through silty medium-coarse sand, powdery fine sand layer, medium-coarse sand layer, silty soil, plastic powdery clay, fully weathered clastic rock, strongly weathered conglomerate-bearing coarse sandstone, strongly weathered muddy siltstone, moderately weathered coarse sandstone, moderately weathered muddy siltstone, slightly weathered conglomerate-bearing coarse sandstone.
The section passes through the Pearl River in the range of DK4+158.710~DK4+743.510, and the overburden of the section ranges from 8.87 to 13.93m.
Equipment type: 1 set of CSTE06280H earth pressure balance (hydraulic main drive), with excavation diameter of 6280mm, length of 85m, overall weight about 500t, installed power of 1654KW, and the maximum thrust speed of 80mm/min.
