Double Shield TBM
Double-shield TBM is a full-section rock tunnel boring machine that breaks the rock by rotating and rolling the cutter head, lining the precast concrete segment and discharging the muck from the belt conveyor, which can use the precast segment as well as the bracing boot to bear the counter force of excavation, and the excavation and the assembling of segment can be carried out synchronously.
Double shield TBM is mainly used in soft rock and hard rock stratum, rock integrity or broken, with self-stabilizing ability of the stratum, can realize the tunneling and assembling segment, tunnel penetration and lining synchronization, high efficiency of tunnel formation.
Suitable for hard rock and soft rock strata with certain self-stabilization. It has two kinds of digging modes. That is, double shield digging mode and single shield digging mode.
